Yann Bertrand Fleurie 'Folie', Beaujolais, France 2019

Fruit for Yann’s ‘Folie’ cuvée comes from 30 to 60-year-old vines rooted in sandy granitic soils. The wine is semi-carbonically macerated without SO2 and is aged in a combination of oak and tank. Juicy notes of bing cherries, potting soil, and crushed flowers lead to an herb-driven finish.
